The Mental Health Department was established in 2019 by members of the Youth Scientific Union. The Department’s activities involve all aspects and fields of mental health, including: Psychiatry, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychology, Sociology, Narcology, Addictology and unites young specialists and people, interested in relevant fields.
The Mental Health department became the official georgian representative of The European Federation of Psychiatric Trainees (EFPT). Therefore, the department promotes general, personal and professional growth on an international level.
Moreover, every member will have opportunities to develop skills of shaping and implementing ideas into different projects, as well as to collaborate with colleges in adjacent fields.
The department organizes a wide range of activities such as scientific conferences, research projects, educational campaigns etc.
